A complex of buildings that is dominated by two round towers – 179 m tall apartment buildings, each with 65 floors. Constructed in 1968. The construction of this “city in the city” started the reversal in the development of American cities from the suburbs back to the center.

Historical skyscraper – 153 m tall, dark-colored building in Art Deco style. It was built in 1929. The building has 37 floors and is covered with black granite, adorned with ornamentation in Art Deco style. The building is topped with a gold-covered tower.

The oldest existing skyscraper where has been used a skeletal support system. This 16-floor tall building was constructed in 1891 and was a huge construction innovation.

One of the most beautiful Polish churches in Chicago, built in 1898. There are several such Neo-Baroque – Neo-Renaissance style churches in Chicago and its vicinities. The interior of the church is especially ornate and even sumptuous.

A family house – the first independent design by then young Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was built in 1894 and Wright himself considered this to be the first example of his new style – Prairie School style.

A private house of Walter H. Gale, a comparatively modest but charming family house. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and constructed in 1893. The planning of the house still belongs to an earlier, Historicism style but shows many features of his own, splendid future style.

A beautiful example of early modernism – a family house in a matured Prairie School style. The house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and constructed in 1909. The design is unusual for Wright.

The family house of the greatest architect of the United States – Frank Lloyd Wright. He designed it and constructed it in 1889 and later extended it. Wright and his wife raised here six children.
