Las de Paquimé
The most impressive ruins of the so-called Casas Grandes monuments. Remnants of ancient settlement from 1130 – 1300 AD. Gradually evolved into a multi-storied single structure that housed up to 2500 people.
Hằng Nga Guesthouse
Unusual hotel building that resembles a giant tree with many other elements in expressionist forms. The guesthouse was designed by Đặng Việt Nga and built on 1990.
Tu Duc Tomb
Large and ornate imperial tomb (in fact – complex of many buildings), built in 1864–1867 for emperor Tự Đức. Emperor used this structure as his residence long before his death and finally was buried elsewhere.

Glaumbær Turf Houses
One of the best representatives of traditional Icelandic turf houses – a group of carefully restored turf houses in Skagafjordur Folk Museum. The site has been inhabited since the 11th century but the oldest turf houses were built in the middle of the 18th century. There are many more examples around Iceland – such as Hólar turf houses (Norðurland vestra).
