Billimina

Impressive, giant cliff face that is covered with more than 2,500 cliff drawings. An interesting feature is drawings of many bars in horizontal rows – most likely this was counting. In the shelter at the cliff people lived over the last 22,000 years.

Koonalda Cave

A cave richly decorated with approximately 20,000 years old drawings over area of thousands of square meters. Part of the cave flooded as the sea level rose.

Bangudae Petroglyphs

A group of rock art that is engraved in the cliffs along Daegokcheon Stream. Engravings were left by prehistoric people, mostly in the late Neolithic – Bronze Ages. Engravings show whales and other animals, people.

Petroglyphs in Cheonjeon-ri

A sacred site throughout millenia. Groups of rock art, engraved in the cliffs along Daegokcheon Stream. Most petroglyphs were made in the late Neolithic – Bronze Ages, but also the intellectuals of Joseon Period (the 14th – 20th century) have left engravings here.

Rock Paintings of Sierra de San Francisco

One of the most significant collections of prehistoric art in the world. Diverse prehistoric rock paintings of high artistic quality and well preserved in the dry climate of Baja California. Created in 1100 BC – 1300 AD. Coordinates show the approximate location of Guadalupe Petroglyphs, but there are many more, such as Cueva del Batequi, Cueva de la Natividad, Cerro de Santa Marta, Cueva de la Soledad, Cueva de las Flechas, Gruta del Brinco and many others.

Cave with some of the best Mayan cave paintings as well more ancient carvings and remnants of prehistoric animals hunted by Paleoindians.

Sa Pa Ancient Rock Field

Here, in Muong Hoa Valley are found volcanic boulders that are covered with hundreds of petroglyphs. Many petroglyphs are lines – it is possible that here is a kind of "archive" of land borders from the 15th century. There are also other theories about the origin of these petroglyphs as well as many other petroglyphs showing people, home utensils.

Nam Dan petroglyphs and megaliths (Nấm Dần)

Group of stones with carved symbols and stone settings. Most stone carvings are rings and weird spiral patterns but there are depicted humans as well.
