Voronet Monastery (Voroneţ) and Saint George Church
One of the best so-called “painted monasteries” of the region, constructed in 1488 in local style – a unique fusion of Gothic, Renaissance, and Byzantines styles. Sometimes the painted Church of Saint George here is nicknamed the “Sistine Chapel of the East”.
St. Vitus Cathedral
Outstanding example of Gothic architecture. The enormous church is 124 m long, with 96.5 m high main tower. Here are buried many Holy Roman Emperors, Bohemian kings. Design of this church left impact on the design of numerous other great European churches.
Church of St. Anne in Vilnius

St Peter’s Basilica

Third largest brick church in the world, an enormous Gothic structure constructed in 1379 – 1502. 25,000 people can fit inside the church. Very impressive, intricate vault system.
