Africa’s most active volcano, 3,058 m high. The volcano has erupted 30 times since 1880 and produces the major part of sulfur dioxide pollution in the world. The volcano has created lava fields. An intense eruption took place also in 2010 and damaged the virgin rainforest. The volcano contains an intermittent lava lake that seems to become more stable and permanent.

Porcupine Gorge

Impressive canyon of Porcupine Creek that is up to 150 m deep. The river has crossected diverse rocks, also – layers of coal. Interesting feature here is Pyramid – a pyramid-shaped monolithic rock.

Mulligan Falls

Beautiful jungle waterfall. Here the river slides down along a steep rock, at some places forming smaller vertical plunges. Total height of the falls is around 35 – 40 meters.

Zoe Falls

Charming waterfall – a slide of water descending in a nice pool. The area is surrounded by pristine rainforest. The lower part of the falls is some 12 m tall.

Blencoe Falls

Waterfall with several cascades. The upper one is very impressive, 90 m tall plunge, and then come numerous slides and smaller falls with a total height of 230 m. Total height of falls – around 320 m.
