Boka Pistol

One of the spectacular bokas or narrow inlets. As the wave reaches it, it shoots the water backward in the air with a great force, resembling a powerful blowhole.

Watamula Hole

Large window – opening down to the sea, located at the northern shore of the island. This is a former blowhole that now for most of the time is too large to create spectacular fountains. During stronger winds and the right direction of the wind, there still are observed nice spouts from Watamula Hole. There are though smaller blowholes to the north-east from Watamula hole and further, around the famous “bokas” of Curaçao (e.g. Boka Kalki), with the limestone terraces that are characteristic for many active blowholes.

Lower Antelope Canyon

Very impressive slot canyon that is 407 m long and some 37 m deep. This is a bit less popular tourist destination than the Upper Antelope Canyon nearby.

Spider Rock

Spectacular rock needle, rising 229 m tall from the floor of Canyon de Chelly.

Chiricahua National Monument

Site with a large number of spectacular vertical rock formations, including impressive balancing rocks.

Wrather Arch

Enormous natural arch with the assessed span around 55 m.

Vultee Arch

Large natural arch with a span of 12 m.

Window Rock

Large cliff with enormous, circular hole in it.

Tonto Natural Bridge

Possibly the largest natural bridge from the travertine. The bridge represents a 120 m long tunnel, up to 46 m wide and 56 m high.

Ear of the Wind

Very impressive natural arch in brownish-red sandstone. This is a pothole arch that is created by chemical weathering.
