Ullim Falls
Large waterfall with two major cascades. 75 m tall. The falling water creates a powerful echo in the narrow valley.
Suyangsan Falls
128 m tall waterfall, sliding down along very steep granite face.
Sibi Falls
289 m tall and 4 m wide waterfall with 12 steps – rather sliding down along the steep mountainside. The tallest cascade is 80 m tall.
Ryongyon Falls
84 m tall waterfall with nice pool below.
Pibong Falls (Bibong Falls)
139 m tall, unusual and quite impressive waterfall, falling in numerous cascades over very steep cliff of shale.
Pakyon Falls (Pagyon Falls)
Scenic falls over granite cliffs, approximately 37 m tall.
Chonsin Falls
86 m tall waterfall, up to 4 m wide. Water is sliding down along the rock with picturesque turns.
63 Building
World’s tallest gold-clad building, 249 m tall. Skyscraper was built in 1985. At sunrise its reflection is blinding.
Poseokjeong
Site of once beautiful royal pavilion of Silla Kingdom. The most interesting feature today here is a system of small water channels. Here in earlier times, cups with alcohol were floated – when this cup reached a person standing at the channels, this person had to drink and recite a poem.
Bell of King Seongdeok
Largest extant bell in Korea. It was cast from bronze in 771 AD. Bell is 3.33 m tall and 18.9 tons heavy. Now it is located in the National Museum of Gyeongju.
