San Miguel Concá Mission
The smallest of the five gorgeous Sierra Gorda’s missions. Built in 1754 – 1758. Church has an elaborate, unusual façade in a mix of Baroque and indigenous styles.
Great Pyramid of Cholula
World’s largest structure, built in the 3rd century BC – 9th century AD. The base of the pyramid is 450 x 450 m, height – 66 m. The volume of the construction material exceeds the volume of the Great Pyramid of Giza nearly two times.
Tahtzibichen Labyrinth
Natural cave labyrinth, Mayan site. Contains stone temples, small pyramids, sculptures, ceramics, human remains. Part of caves is inundated.
Balankanche Caves
Network of sacred Mayan caves, contains large selection of ancient pottery and idols in their original locations.
Sacred Cenote in Chichen Itza
Human sacrifice site of the ancient Mayan Chichen Itza city. In deposits have been discovered huge amounts of gold and jade artefacts as well as human remains.
Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral
Largest and oldest cathedral in Americas, built in lush Renaissance and Baroque style in 1573 – 1813.
Temple of Literature
Temple of Confucius, the first national university in Vietnam, constructed in 1070. Temple contains many precious relics.
Phát Diệm Cathedral
Ornate cathedral, built in 1891 in traditional Vietnamese style borrowing some elements from the European churches.
Po Nagar
Ornate Hindu temple built by Cham people before 781 AD. The main tower is some 25 m high. Site of legends about the goddess of this temple.
Po Klong Garai Temple
Impressive, very ornate Cham temple. Build time is unknown but most likely the temple was built in the 11th century.
