Californian laurel tree at Myrtlewood Trail
Californian laurel tree at Myrtlewood Trail has a circumference of 15.27 m. The trunk is much wider at its base – hence the enormous circumference.
The largest Fremont cottonwood in Skull Valley
This is the largest currently known Fremont cottonwood (Populus fremontii). The tree has a circumference of 14.22 m and height of 31 m (2017). It was planted in 1917.
Port Orford Cedar near Hiouchi
The tallest known Port Orford Cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana), 81.08 m tall, discovered in 2009. Diameter of the trunk is 280.4 cm.

The Chandelier Tree
Enormous coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens (D. Don) Endl.) with large 1.83 x 2.64 m hole carved in the 1930s – car can drive through it. Height of the tree – 84 m.
Methuselah tree
Great Basin bristlecone pine (Pinus longaeva D.K.Bailey). The oldest announced individual tree in world, 4,851 years old. It is highly possible that in the grove are older trees – there is reported a tree “Prometheus” that is 4900 years old (in Nevada, Wheeler Peak) and rumoured another one that is 5069 years old (in 2019).
Lost Monarch
One of the largest coast redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) in the world. Volume 1,206 m³. Height 97.84 m, circumference 24.13 m (includes multiple trunks).
Devil’s Canyon Colossus
The largest incense-cedar (Calocedrus decurrens ((Torrey) Florin), volume 223 m3. 46.3 m high, circumference 11.7 m.
