Lielvardes Rumbina

Near the centre of Lielvarde Town, next to a small rural shop and houses is located a picturesque waterfall. Lielvardes Rumbina is up to 2 m high and up to 10.5 m wide waterfall with a nice canyon below it.

Skanstupites Cascade (Skanstupītes ūdenskritums)

Inside the Plavinas town is a small cascade of picturesque waterfalls – Skanstupite Cascade. There, on Skanstupite River shortly before its fall into the flooded Daugava Valley have formed three steps that are 0.9, 0.2 and 0.4 m high.

At first, the small Olupites Waterfall seems to be just another small Latvian waterfall. But it has an interesting feature: a swallet. Part of the river disappears in a hollow shortly before the main fall.
