Ratangad
Cliff – peak at the summit, with a "needle hole" (Ratangad Nedhe) – natural hole through it. The hole is some 3 m high and 10 m wide. A very old fortress has been built here – with the oldest structures up to 2,000 years old.
Konkan Kada
More than 900 m tall cliff. A beloved place for hiking, here can be observed vertical movements of clouds and other phenomena.
Zuytdorp Cliffs
Some 150 km long seaside cliffs, up to 250 m high. Rugged, spectacular area.
Shell House
Beautiful and impressive coastal cliffs, Ordovician and Triassic sandstone and shale.
Cabo Girão
A prominent cliff face, rising up to 589 m high directly from the ocean. Cliff is some 3 km wide. At the foot of the cliff in some places is a narrow strip of land with terraced fields – Fajãs de Cabo Girão.
Látrabjarg
Largest bird cliff in Europe, 14 km long and up to 441 m high. Hosts millions of birds including 230,000 razorbills (Alca torda) – 40% of world’s population.
