Very powerful, 12 m tall and some 75 m wide waterfall on the muddy Jökulsá á Fjollum stream. Waterfall has a complex configuration – its front is jagged, with an island in the middle. If measured along the front, the waterfall is some 470 m wide. Approximately 1 kilometer further comes next waterfall – Vígabjargsfoss.
