Diamond Falls belong to most unusual falls in Caribbean.

This waterfall is located in the beautiful Diamond Botanical Gardens. This garden is owned by Devaux family, who received this land as a grant presented by King louis XIV in 1713.

Fine pathways lead through the collections of rainforest flowers towards an unusual sight – tall cliff with bright colored waterfall falling over it. At the base of waterfall is small pool which is filled with ash-gray water.

The waterfall stream comes from geothermal area – Soufrière sulphur springs, which is located some 1.4 km upstreams. Water in this stream is still warm, rich with sulphur and other minerals and as a result the cliff along the waterfall is laced with colourful – yellow, green purple sediments. These colors are constantly changing.
