In detail
Vegi Waterfall consists of numerous (more than 15) smaller steps with a total height of some 1.5 m over a distance of 11 meters.
This waterfall has formed on the Middle Devonian dolostone of Pļaviņas Stage. It is more impressive during the spring floods while during the summer the stream disappears almost completely.
Further below the stream are some more small dolostone steps.
