Arslanbob Forest - world's largest walnut forest, Kyrgyzstan

Large forest of wild walnut (Juglans regia), the main genetic pool of walnuts. Alexander the Great took walnuts from this forest to Europe. This is world’s largest walnut forest with an approximate area of 11,000 ha. Here grow other species of rare fruit trees too.

According to legends in this lake live giant fish or similar creatures that are some 10 – 15 m long. These animals have been caught on video, including an aerial that shows a group of some 15 creatures crossing the lake (2012).

Lobé Falls

Qingkou tiankeng and waterfalls

The most impressive erosion tiankeng, with several waterfalls falling into it, vertical walls. Up to 295 m deep, up to 250 m wide, volume 9.2 million m³. The giant Er Wang Dong cave starts here.
